Carol’s Furniture and Sleep Shop was established in 1975 and first held the name of Carol’s Chair Boutique. The business was originally started by Art and Carol Propp and specialized in chairs.

In 1982 Art and Carol expanded, adding living room sets, gifts, and wall décor. A second building was purchased in 1988. At this time the inventory was increased to include mattress sets and a full line of furniture.

Carol's has been a La-z-boy dealer for over twenty [20] years and has provided northeast Colorado with a good night's rest since 1988 when we began carrying Simmons sleep sets.

Art and Carol’s daughter, Lori Armstrong joined the business in 1988, and became a partner in 1999. Lori’s husband Jay also joined the business that year. In 2003 Jay and Lori took full ownership of Carol’s Furniture and Sleep Shop.

We are keeping the family traditions begun by Mom and Dad; treating our customers like good friends and neighbors (because you are) and providing top notch service and products.
